Jarle Holt (MS)
Jarle Holt has a master's degree from KTH and has also studied at NTNU, University of Florida, and BI. He has been studying stress and heart rate variability since 2009 and hopes through his work to (one beautiful day) complete his PhD at NTNU.
In recent years, Jarle has assisted exhausted individuals by understanding and helping them stay within their capacity for physical, mental, and emotional activity to achieve a better life
Tord Asle Gjerdalen (Dr. med)
Tord brings valuable perspectives on healthcare delivery and user experience, helping ensure that Empirica's solutions address real-world clinical needs effectively.
Amund Aarsten (Ph.D)
Amund leverages his technical background to oversee the development of Empirica's core systems. His experience in software architecture ensures our platform is robust, secure, and scalable.
Dr. Lawrence Gaul (Dr. Med)
Dr. Gaul was a cardiologist in Vail for over 20 years and transitioned to VVMC's Internal Medicine department in 2013. He began his mountain journey as a dishwasher at the old Whistle Stop restaurant in Minturn. Then, after working as a paramedic and emergency medical technician in Vail, he decided to pursue his medical degree. He is a graduate of The University of Colorado School of Medicine and Penn State's Hershey Medical School. He performed his residency in internal medicine in New York and returned to Vail in 1993 as a board certified cardiologist and internal medicine physician. He is also the head team physician for the U.S. Ski Team Nordic disciplines. His personal interests include endurance sports and performance.

Onboarding Process
We have developed a structured onboarding process for doctors: - One day training program - Testing with up to 100 simulated patients - Handling real patients with close monitoring
